Rock's Heim Organic Educational Farm is located in Patagonia, Argentina in the the Nahuel Huapi National Park, province of Río Negro, 25 kilometers (16 miles) from the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. We're on Route 40, which is the road that goes from Bariloche to El Bolsón. The entrance to the farm is just past kilometer 2014 on the right heading south, and our gate is 200 meters from the main road. Follow the signs for “Granja Educativa”.
On the north, we are bounded by the Cerro Catedral mountain range, to the east by Lago Gutiérrez, to the south by Lago Mascardi, and to the west by the Ñirihuau mountain range.
Our land is flat and fertile, with plenty of sun. The trees are predominantly natives: Ñires, Cyprus, Radales, Coihues and Retamos. We have plenty of crystal pure mountain water available for agricultural and horticultural purposes.
Because of our proximity to the main road, the farm is very easy to access, whether you come by car or by bus. Regular bus service from Bariloche is available on -Vía Bariloche- and -3 de Mayo- lines.
